Virginia Beach Maternity Session | Jordan + Dan

I’m so happy to have crossed paths with these two. Jordan and Dan have hearts of gold. We met at church about a year before getting to do these photos! When Jordan was in the first few weeks of her pregnancy (aka, just found out!) we ran into each other at a restaurant downtown and we got to be some of the first people they shared they news with! Little did I know that when she was sharing about her pregnancy, I was pregnant myself! I found out about a week later and rushed to tell her the irony of it. Both being first time moms, I love that during their session we got to talk all things babies. We planned their session for the Virginia Beach oceanfront in July. The sun and breeze worked in our favor. The weather could not have been more perfect for some beach maternity photos!

When niching down my business, I considered cutting out maternity sessions. Then I realized I love them so much, I just could never do that!! Especially since becoming a mom myself, I’ve realized just how magical they really are. There’s something about these last few weeks as a couple before becoming a family that are so so special. I love getting to capture that!
